This lecture again was very important. <br \/>\n<br \/>\n Coming into my placement, I was aware that the area I was working in had a number of different number of cultural backgrounds. Stepping into the classroom I immediately noticed the broad range of cultures represented in the classroom. This made it quite challenging in ceratin subjects. This was a very powerful lecture and one which really made me walk out of the lecture thinking that she is right.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nWhile i have waited until after my practical placement to write my discussion in regards to this lecture in particular, I really admired what she said and took that on board. Within the first two days of my placement I took it upon myself to memorise everyone's name and the students loved that. They loved having me around and their attitute changed towards a &quot;stranger&quot; entering their classroom.
