The main question is where to draw a line? Although I was very clear on most areas of conduct some were border line. As it was explained, you are a professional teacher rather than a friend to the students. This made me think of what limits I have to set myself. As a caring and friendly person, some of these boundaries I may have crossed. Aery interesting example Greg cam up with was, What if you were driving in the rain and saw a student walking home in the rain\/ My first thought would be to stop and ask the child if they wanted a lioft. however Greg assured me that this isn't to be the case. Although I don't entirely agree with this, I undrstand why this should be the case.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nAgain the lecture was very insightful and thought provoking. It was very insightful as I do not want to end up  on the wrong side of the law. The reason for choosing the graphic of the tight-rope walking man (dressed in an appropriately scholary outfit) was to symbolise the dilema that many face following the Teacher Code of ethics and code of conduct.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThe main point that I have taken away from me is the point of always being professional.
